Eat Your Yard: Foodscaping and the Sustainable Backyard on Thursday, July 10 at River House
with James Carucci

Foodscaping is the concept of creating landscapes which are sustainable, reduce water consumption, provide wildlife habitat and produce plants which are edible and therapeutic. Many plants you find in your lawn and gardens are actually edible and play a role in our local ecosystem. In this class, you will learn about Florida native plants that some consider “weeds” but can actually add color to your landscape – and your plate! Food tastings and recipes will be provided.
