Travel Sketching on Tuesdays in November / December at River House
with Rosamond Parrish
$25
“Travel Sketching”, a class in how to get more out of your travel experiences by learning to see and sketch all kinds of things: flower gardens, interesting doors, old churches, foreign street scenes, boats and more. All you need is a pencil and a small sketchbook to start. Your instructor will provide photos to draw from, or you can bring your own, and you’ll get personal help with interpreting that scene onto paper. You’ll learn about different materials, how to pack a travel sketch kit, taking your own reference photos, adding color and lots more.
Rosamond Parrish, FWS (Florida Watercolor Society Signature Member), has taught classes in drawing and watercolor at the COA, St Augustine Art Association, Jacksonville Art Museum and the Ponte Vedra Cultural Council for over thirty years.
