Spanish (Level 2) on Tuesdays in July at River House

In this class we will practice and build on the basics learned in level one. As we build our vocabulary we will converse more about familiar situations such as shopping, dining out, family members, weather, and travel tips. We will improve our understanding of grammar by writing, reading and pronouncing with increased conversation. We will also discuss cultural traditions, holidays and history. We try to make learning Spanish interesting and fun.
Mercedes is originally from El Salvador. She has been in the USA since 1966 when she attended Wichita University in a student exchange program. She tutors Spanish speaking people and teaches them English with Learn to Read, another local nonprofit. She has two kids and six grandkids.
4 week sessions will be held on Tuesdays, July 5, 12, 19, 26 from 1:30 to 3:30 at The River House (179 Marine St. St. Augustine 32084)
Register by June 30 to keep your favorite class from being canceled.
Classes are for ages 18 and up.
