Perspective Drawing Class on Thursdays in January at River House

Linear perspective drawing is a system of creating an illusion of depth on a flat surface. All parallel lines (orthogonals) in a drawing using this system converge in a single vanishing point on the composition's horizon line. This class will study this process with table-top objects, as well as interior and exterior studies.
Supplies needed:
- Large drawing pad 18 x 24”
- 12” or 18” plastic T-square
- Yardstick
- Pencil sharpener
- HB and #2 pencils
- White plastic eraser
- Biege masking tape
Class sessions will be held on Thursdays, January 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 from 9 - 10:30 at the River House (179 Marine Street, St. Augustine 32084).
For ages 18 and up.
