Improv on Mondays in April at River House

with Teresa Harris

$25

Come try your hand at improv where nothing is scripted or planned ahead. Share a laugh and meet new people. This is a laid back class where you are encouraged to be silly and to try out new ideas. While improv is usually seen as short comedic games, stories or skits, it doesn't have to be. This is not stand-up comedy. You will learn listening skills and how to work with others so that everyone shines.

Teresa has been acting since she was 5 years old, and that was decades ago, to present time. She is very active in the local community theatres and even performed in the Florida State Play "Cross and Sword" back in 1986. Teresa co-founded, along with her husband Milt, The Attention Deficit Players Improv Troupe which performed for several years at various venues in North Georgia. She was also a member of the Ithink improv troupe in Woodstock, Ga. and The Adventure Project improv troupe here in St. Augustine.

4 sessions will be held on Mondays, April 3, 10, 17, 24 from Noon - 1 at River House (179 Marine St.  St. Augustine 32084)

Classes are for ages 18 and up.
